Credits are consumed by visibility queries (searches across AI engines) and schema generation. Each engine query uses credits from your monthly allowance. Cached responses don't consume credits. Credits reset at the start of each billing period.

Yes, at any time. Upgrades are prorated and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period so you keep access until the last day you've paid for.
